American adults who “support legalizing marijuana for recreational use,” says The Harris Poll. That’s the first time it’s been half. Last year’s poll registered 49 percent.
“Adolescents who start smoking because of smoking images seen in the movies,” says anti-smoking campaign Truth Initiative. Also interesting: “42 percent of the video games studied contained tobacco images.”
“Teens using over-the-counter (OTC) cough medicine to get high,” says National Institute on Drug Abuse health statistics. Ten years ago, it was 6 percent.
