The onslaught of toy lists officially began this afternoon.

It’s not even October yet, but we just spied the first “top holiday toys” list.

The first two, actually. The Toy Insider, a gift guide published by a trade group, today released one list for the hottest top 20 toys and another for the top 12 tech toys.

“Be sure to shop early — many of these toys will sell out before the holidays arrive,” warns Laurie Schacht, chief toy officer of Toy Insider.

Of course, Schacht doesn’t mention how her firm decides which toys are “hot.” She also doesn’t tell you where, how much, or really anything about the toys themselves. So we’ve found where you can buy the most popular toy per age group for the cheapest price…

For infants and toddlers (0-2 years)

This bike purports to teach your child balance and stability so you don’t have to go through all that messy training-wheel practice. Start your child off in Training Mode, where the back wheels of the bike are spread further apart. By changing it to Bike Balance Mode with a twist of the handlebar, the back wheels squeeze back together, giving your child a real two-wheeled ride.

Price: Buy it eBay for $79.99.

For preschoolers (3-5 years)

Disney Frozen Snow Glow Elsa Toddler Doll

Frozen, which now ranks as the fifth highest-grossing film in box office history, has inspired dozens of toys this year. This Elsa doll will quote lines from the movie, as well as a 32-second clip of Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go.”

Price: Buy it eBay for $34.99.

Grade school (6-8 years)

Air Storm Firetek Bow

If your elementary school kid was more into Katniss than Elsa, this bow might be the right way to go. The arrows are made of foam, so they won’t hurt anyone if they happen to hit a human target, but kids will love the light-up LED power and range of over 145 feet.

Price: Available only in WalMart stores for $15.

Tween girls (Ages 9+)

It’s My Biz

These kits contain the essentials for every girl to start her own business, whether it be a jewelry store, T-shirt shop, cupcake bakery, or nail salon.

Price: Buy the Bead Boutique from Barnes and Noble for $25, or the Cup Cakery bakery from Fat Brain Toys for $19.

Tween boys (9+)

Lego Star Wars Rebels “The Ghost”

As seen on the TV series “Star Wars: Rebels,” The Ghost starship comes with an assortment of weapons that include a light saber and blaster rifle. There’s a 360-degree rotating gun turret and ejecting space pods, and the two cockpits have seats for any of the five minifigures that come with the set.

Price: Buy it at Wal-Mart for $89.35.
