Launched the day after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in 2018, Howard Dvorkin, Chairman of Debt.com, pledged he could not sit idly by knowing he had the ability and tools to make a difference.

Parkland Cares first provided MSD students, teachers, and staff with mental-health counseling and therapy. In 2021, grant funding expanded to local nonprofits providing mental-health services across South Florida — distributing over $1 million to date.

By partnering with Junior Achievement of South Florida, Debt.com offers debt-busting lessons to 20,000 eighth graders every school year. Since 2009, JA has mentored students in entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy at JA World Finance Park — a simulated city that prepares students for tomorrow's careers.
