It could cost 10 percent of a yacht’s initial purchase price annually to keep it running, according to Investopedia. So, in theory, a $10 million yacht would set you back $1 million a year in operational costs.

Investopedia also says berthing spots during prime-time events such as the Monaco Grand Prix can cost $100,000 or more for a five-day stay.
$84K to $180K
The captain of a 100-to-160-foot vessel with more than five years of experience will demand a salary of $84,000-180,000 annually, according to Investopedia.
