Total cost of workplace injuries in 2014, according to the Liberty Mutual Insurance Workplace Safety Index. Falling down accounted for more than a quarter of all injuries. Only 6.2 percent happened in “roadway incidents,” but the worst category, coming in at 3.3 percent, is “caught in/compressed by equipment or objects.” Ouch and yuck.
“Business travelers who extend their trip with leisure travel and activities,” according to Expedia. Most popular distractions: sporting events (76 percent) and concerts (64 percent). And when do they research which one to attend? While they’re at work, of course.
Millennials (that’s 18- to 34-year-olds) who are “likely to leave their job within the next six months,” according to rating service Clutch. Only 11 percent of Gen-Xers and 12 percent of Baby Boomers feel the same.
Office workers who agree “meetings are better attended when food is provided,” according to ezCater. So the other 14 percent don’t want free food?
